Hot tub removal
Old hot tubs don't fit through gates. We drain it, disconnect it once the power is off, cut it into pieces and haul every piece away, including the steps and the cover.

How it's priced
Hot tub removal is a $395 fee for cutting and handling the tub, plus the trailer space it takes up, the same as everything else we haul. Your photo quote adds the two together. Bigger tubs, tight access or a deck to tear out costs more, and any price change is confirmed with you before the job begins.
Before we arrive
- Have an electrician turn off and disconnect the power, or tell us and we'll talk it through.
- Drain it a day or two ahead.
- Take a photo of the tub and one of the path to the street.

Do I need to drain it?
It helps. If it's full, tell us in the quote. Draining on site adds time.
Will you damage my yard?
We lay down protection where we cut and carry, and we sweep up before we leave.
How much does hot tub removal cost?
It depends on the size of the tub, the path out and whether there's a deck around it. Send photos and you'll see your price before you book. Any change is confirmed with you before we start.
Do you need to get a truck into the backyard?
No. We cut the tub into pieces that fit through a normal gate and carry them out.
Who disconnects the power?
Hot tubs are hard-wired, so an electrician should turn off and disconnect the power before we arrive.

Where it goes
Hot tubs are mostly wood, foam and plastic, with some metal in the pumps and frame. Metal parts get recycled. The rest goes to the transfer station.
